Ellen

During my time at The Ellen Show, I helped lead the User Generated Content (UGC) program as well as sourced online viral content. In this role: I created and produced montages using UGC, wrote compelling copy, and designed eye-catching thumbnails for sharing across The Ellen Show’s social media platforms, the EllenTube website, and occasionally featured on the show. The videos I produced garnered 4+ millions of views in a year. I also created an incentive program, encouraging fans to submit content in exchange for a $250 gift card. This not only gained us greater fan engagement but also allowed us to forge impactful partnerships due to receiving better content. I worked with the partnership team to leverage UGC for sponsorships which increased revenue. One of my favorite partner sponsorships was with Furbo, a dog camera. I initiated a call for dog enthusiasts to capture entertaining moments of their furry friends. As part of the sponsorship, Furbo served as a giveaway prize, effectively elevating awareness for the product and incentivizing the creation of high-quality content.

While overseeing UGC content for The Ellen Show, I contributed content to PawsUp, an Instagram page filled with adorable and entertaining content of animals. I used footage from our UGC catalog to post on PawsUp and created montages for the page. In addition, I actively sought out and obtained permission to use compelling online content. The page went from 0 to 1 million followers in under three months.
