I wore multiple hats as a Social Media Manager and Business Operations Coordinator. truData Solutions is a technology professional services provider specializing in Data Warehouse Modernization, Cloud Transformation, Analytics, and AI Innovation. Despite being new to the technology sector, I leveraged my transferable social media and business knowledge to excel in this role.
During my time, our LinkedIn following grew by 7k in just 6 months. Considering the diverse locations of our employees: Vancouver, India, Costa Rica, Texas, New York, London, and Atlanta, I initiated an employee spotlight series. This not only showcased our talented team on LinkedIn but also fostered a sense of appreciation within our organization. Facing the challenge of NDA restrictions on client promotions, I creatively developed graphics featuring case studies and highlighted our services. I also curated a vibrant online presence, capturing the unique camaraderie among truData employees through events such as women in technology dinners, Halloween celebrations, happy hours, and work events—all documented on our social media platforms. Our LinkedIn success was attributed to strategically crafted invisible text for SEO, along with engaging visuals and informative captions.
In addition to my social media responsibilities, I sought out to handle partnerships with Microsoft, Google, Databricks, etc. I also played a pivotal role in supporting my boss with leading the Sales team. This included tasks ranging from booking travel and managing expenses to creating graphics for internal and external use, designing team backgrounds for online meetings, coordinating venues for events, generating reports for meetings, refining PowerPoint presentations, etc.,
